Short answer: Pipeboard is a solid pick if you run ads across many platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok, Snap, Reddit) and want to start on a free plan. If you're an agency or freelancer on Google Ads and Meta Ads and you want a before/after preview of every change, a change log with rollback, per-client limits and a morning review of all accounts, AdSparky is the Pipeboard alternative built for that. It's in free beta, no card: try it here.
Disclosure: I'm the founder of AdSparky. Every claim about Pipeboard below links to Pipeboard's own pages or GitHub, checked October 30-31, 2026.

Safety: confirmation vs a full review trail#
Both tools can change live accounts, so this is the section to read.
Pipeboard's README promises "explicit confirmation on every write" and says new campaigns start paused where the platform allows. Some edit tools return a confirmation link. Read-only tokens and scoping tokens to specific accounts and tools are on paid plans. That's a sensible baseline. What I didn't find is a before/after preview or any rollback.
AdSparky goes further, because agencies answer to clients:
- dry run: the change is prepared and validated, not sent,
- before/after preview with the reason for the change,
- human approval in the chat or in the panel's "To approve" queue,
- history with author, source and reason, and rollback that's usually one step.
Plus fixed rules: nothing is ever deleted, only paused. New campaigns start paused. A single budget operation moves at most +30% or -50%. If someone edits the same object in Google Ads between preview and approval, AdSparky won't overwrite it and asks for a fresh preview. Per-client limits (max budget, untouchable campaigns, allowed platforms) can only be tightened from the chat; loosening them takes a human in the panel.
When a client asks "who paused this ad set and why?", you have the answer in one place.
Built around clients, not account slots#
Pipeboard counts ad accounts as slots: Free 2, Pro 3, Premium 10, Agency 25, with extra slots sold monthly. Agency has unlimited team members and per-account token scoping.
AdSparky is organized around clients. One prompt in the morning reviews every client with the urgent stuff on top. For each client you store knowledge (banned terms, what counts as a lead, seasonality) and goals like a max CPA, and the assistant uses them before it suggests anything. Automations prepare changes by default; only an owner or admin can let them run on their own. You get team roles, alerts and PDF reports for clients. Numbers are pulled from the APIs, not recalled by the model, and small samples get flagged as "not enough data."
This is the part I'm proudest of. It turns the assistant from a clever API wrapper into something that actually runs an agency morning with you.
Run your first morning review free.
Platforms and scope: Pipeboard is wider#
Per its README, Pipeboard is a family of five servers (Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, Snap, Reddit) with one login and one token. The pricing page also mentions LinkedIn, and the homepage has guides for LinkedIn, Microsoft Ads, Pinterest and Snap. If a client runs TikTok or Reddit campaigns, AdSparky won't see them.
AdSparky sticks to two ad platforms and goes deeper around them: GA4, Google Tag Manager (is the conversion tag firing?), Merchant Center feeds and the client's WordPress site. Many of the 300+ tools are ready-made workflows: account audit, search terms review, "why did cost per lead go up", monthly report.
Where it runs#
Both are remote MCP servers. MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the standard that lets an AI assistant plug into outside systems. Both work in Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code and Codex. Pipeboard also lists Cursor and n8n and ships a CLI for automation.
Pipeboard's Meta server code is public on GitHub under the Business Source License 1.1, so you can self-host it, but then you need your own Meta developer app. AdSparky has no self-hosted version; it runs in the browser with OAuth login and no terminal. Comparing against Meta's own server? Read official Meta Ads MCP vs third-party tools.
Price#
Pipeboard's pricing is shown in local currency. From Poland, on October 31, 2026, the page showed: Free (2 accounts, 30 AI executions a week, no card), Pro PLN 89.90/mo (3 accounts), Premium PLN 299.90/mo (10 accounts, up to 5 team members), Agency PLN 599.90/mo (25 accounts), extra accounts PLN 29.90/mo each. Annual billing costs ten months of the monthly price. Pro and Premium have a 7-day trial on monthly plans. Secure Enterprise is custom. I couldn't see USD prices on Pipeboard's own page from here, so check what it shows you; the page says checkout displays the final amount and currency before you subscribe.
AdSparky is free in the beta, no card. Pricing will be announced before the beta ends. Both tools need your own Claude or ChatGPT plan.
Data and enterprise security#
Pipeboard's Secure Enterprise plan offers SAML 2.0 SSO, a custom contract and DPA, SOC 2 materials and audit log export. It states Meta Business Partner status and approved Google Ads API access. I didn't find on the pricing page where data is stored.
AdSparky keeps its database and engine in the EU (Ireland and Frankfurt), which matters for GDPR-minded European agencies. Keys are encrypted, agency data is isolated, and we don't train AI on your data. We don't have SOC 2 yet.
When to choose AdSparky#
- You manage a book of clients on Google Ads and Meta Ads.
- You want to see every change before and after, with the reason, before it goes live.
- You want a change history with rollback for client questions and audits.
- You want hard rules: never delete, campaigns start paused, budget moves capped.
- You need per-client limits that the AI can't loosen.
- You want the assistant to remember each client's rules and goals.
- You want one morning review across all clients instead of checking account by account.
- You want GA4, GTM, Merchant Center and WordPress next to the ad accounts.
- You want EU data hosting.
- You'd rather not count account slots.
Fair warning: it's a beta, so things can break and features change.
When to choose Pipeboard#
- You run TikTok, Snap, Reddit or LinkedIn alongside Meta and Google.
- You want a free plan for two accounts, or you work in Cursor, n8n or a CLI.
- You need SSO, a DPA and SOC 2 materials (Secure Enterprise), or want to self-host the Meta server.
FAQ#
Is AdSparky a good Pipeboard alternative?#
For agencies on Google Ads and Meta Ads, yes: it adds a dry run with before/after preview, rollback, a never-delete rule, per-client limits, client memory and EU hosting. For multi-platform work beyond Google and Meta, Pipeboard covers more.
Is Pipeboard free?#
It has a free plan with 2 ad accounts and 30 AI executions a week, no card. Paid plans are priced in local currency.
Is Pipeboard Meta's official MCP server?#
No. Pipeboard is an independent company that states Meta Business Partner status. Meta's own server is at mcp.facebook.com/ads.
Can I switch from Pipeboard to AdSparky?#
Yes. Both connect through the official APIs, so nothing changes inside the ad accounts. Disconnect one server in Claude or ChatGPT and connect the other. Change history doesn't carry over between tools.
More options: Ryze AI alternative, Markifact alternative, best MCP servers for Meta Ads.
