Short answer: if you run Google Ads and Meta Ads for clients and you want an AI that prepares every change for you to approve, with a before/after preview, a full change history and one-step rollback, AdSparky is the Ryze AI alternative I'd pick. If you need TikTok, LinkedIn or Microsoft Ads, or you actually want an autopilot that adjusts campaigns on its own, look at Ryze. AdSparky is in free beta, no card: try it on your own accounts.
Disclosure: I'm the founder of AdSparky. Every claim about Ryze below links to Ryze's own pages, checked October 30-31, 2026.
One naming note: Ryze AI at get-ryze.ai is a different company from ryze.so. Ryze says so on its own blog. This post is about get-ryze.ai.

The real difference: autopilot vs approval#
This is the part that matters most if you manage other people's money.
Ryze's MCP page says write actions need your approval before anything changes, and the app shows Approve and Deny buttons next to recommendations. At the same time, one of Ryze's main selling points is its autopilot: the AI "monitors campaigns 24/7, adjusts automatically", and the homepage highlights that more customers are switching it on. I couldn't find a description of rollback, or whether Ryze can delete anything.
AdSparky is built the other way around. The AI does the heavy lifting, and a human signs off. Every change goes through the same path:
- dry run (the change is prepared and validated, but not sent to the account),
- before/after preview with the reason for the change,
- human approval in the chat or in the "To approve" queue in the panel,
- logged in history with author, source and reason, usually reversible in one step.
On top of that, a few hard rules. AdSparky never deletes anything, it only pauses. New campaigns are created paused. A single budget change is capped at +30% / -50%. If someone edits the same object in Google Ads between preview and approval, AdSparky won't overwrite it and asks for a fresh preview. Automations exist, but by default they only prepare changes; letting them execute on their own is something only the agency owner or an admin can switch on.
For an agency, that's the difference between "the AI changed something overnight" and "here are 6 changes, approve the ones you like."
Per-client guardrails Ryze doesn't advertise#
Each AdSparky client has limits: max budget, campaigns the AI must not touch, allowed platforms. Here's the clever bit: from the chat, limits can only be tightened. Loosening them takes a human in the panel. So even a confused prompt can't talk the assistant into spending more than you allowed. I didn't find an equivalent on Ryze's site.
Built for the agency morning#
This is where I think AdSparky does its best work. One prompt in the morning gives you a review of every client, with urgent issues at the top. The assistant remembers what you agreed with each client: banned keywords, what counts as a lead, seasonality, target CPA. You get a team with roles, alerts and PDF reports for clients. Numbers come straight from the Google and Meta APIs, not from the model's memory, and when the sample is too small it says so.
Ryze's Agency plan ($279/mo) gives unlimited client workspaces, 3,000 credits a month and white-label (your logo, colors, domain and email sender). The Paid Ads plan ($89/mo) has 3 workspaces. Ryze also sells Managed Campaigns, billed as a percentage of ad spend. If white-label is a must for you, Ryze has it and AdSparky doesn't.
Platforms: Ryze covers more#
No spin here. Ryze lists Google, Meta, Microsoft, TikTok and LinkedIn, plus Reddit and Pinterest on its MCP page, and sells separate SEO and website products. AdSparky covers Google Ads and Meta Ads only, but goes deeper around them: GA4, Google Tag Manager (is the conversion tag actually firing?), Merchant Center feeds and the client's WordPress site. That's over 300 tools focused on two platforms instead of a thin layer across many.
Where it runs#
Both are remote MCP servers. MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the standard that lets an assistant like Claude or ChatGPT use outside tools: read account data and prepare changes. Ryze documents adding its connector to Claude as a custom connector and also runs its own app.
AdSparky works in Claude (claude.ai and Claude Desktop), ChatGPT, Claude Code and Codex, plus a web panel. No terminal needed, login is OAuth. If you want the step-by-step, see how to connect Claude to Google Ads.
Data and GDPR: EU vs US hosting#
For European agencies this one can decide the deal. Ryze's security policy says it's hosted in the US (Supabase and ClickHouse Cloud on AWS us-east-1), and EU-only hosting isn't available on standard plans. EU transfers rely on standard contractual clauses in its DPA. Ryze says it doesn't train models on your data and encrypts tokens with AES-256-GCM.
AdSparky keeps its database in Ireland and runs its engine in Frankfurt. Keys are encrypted, each agency's data is isolated, and we don't train AI on your data. With either tool, results also pass through your assistant provider (Anthropic or OpenAI) under your own agreement with them.
Price#
Ryze, checked October 31, 2026: Paid Ads $89/mo, Agency $279/mo, both with a 7-day trial. Annual billing saves 30% in the first year, then renews at full price. Prices don't depend on ad spend.
AdSparky is free during the beta, no card. We'll announce pricing before the beta ends. You need your own paid Claude or ChatGPT plan. Honest caveat: it's a beta, so expect rough edges and features that change.
When to choose AdSparky#
- Your clients spend on Google Ads and Meta Ads, and you want both in one conversation.

- You want a hard rule that nothing gets deleted and new campaigns start paused.
- You need per-client limits the AI can't loosen from the chat.
- You want the assistant to remember each client's rules, banned terms and what counts as a lead.
- You start every day with a review of all clients and want urgent items on top.
- You need GA4, GTM, Merchant Center and the client's WordPress site next to the ad accounts.

- You'd rather test for free on real accounts than start a 7-day clock.
Start the free beta - it takes a couple of minutes to connect.
When to choose Ryze#
- You run TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft Ads or Reddit campaigns.
- You want an autopilot that optimizes on its own, or you need white-label for clients.

FAQ#
Is AdSparky a better Ryze AI alternative for agencies?#
For agencies on Google Ads and Meta Ads that want human approval on every change, I think so: AdSparky adds dry runs, before/after previews, rollback, per-client limits and EU hosting, none of which I found on Ryze's site. For agencies that need more platforms or white-label, Ryze covers that and AdSparky doesn't.
Does Ryze AI require approval for changes?#
Per its MCP page, write actions need approval. Ryze also offers an autopilot mode that, per its own description, adjusts campaigns automatically.
How much does Ryze AI cost?#
As of October 31, 2026: $89/mo for Paid Ads and $279/mo for Agency, each with a 7-day trial.
Where does Ryze store data?#
In the US, on AWS us-east-1. Per its security policy, EU-only hosting isn't available on standard plans.
What other Ryze alternatives are there?#
See Markifact alternative, Pipeboard alternative, and the roundups of the best MCP servers for Google Ads and for Meta Ads.
